If credit card terminal is not working properly you might have to reset the terminal.

On the shelf below the cash register there is computer and all cables connecting the different devices.  Find the connector shown in the picture below and unplug and plug the connector shown in the RED circle.  Once the power is plugged back in you should hear a beep indicating the restarting of the terminal.
